Someone to do the job.
Today I found a mannequin at a street market. I've been looking for one for ages, and today it happend! It means I do no longer have to bother friends and family (all though they are good looking) to model my knitting. I now have someone to do the job, and someone who does exactly what I say!
I often model my own knitting which means I need someone to take the pictures. I love to get help, but it's great to know that now I can work when I have the time and not have to wait for other people to show up.
The future looks bright!

Such a pretty sweater top! I like your maniquin story. i found Marilyn, My maniquin, in a street corner garbage can! She's been a great model!
ReplyDeleteI really like the lacy leaf capelet too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the good find! I am fortunate in that since I make bath bombs, I don't need models. However, that DOES sound like an interesting idea! LOL :)
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful find Eline - some things are just meant to be - and if you ask you shall be given!
ReplyDeletegood luck with your amazing knitting machine too - hope it all comes together well.
Your photos are beautful aswell!
Well done on finding a new, more compliant model! I use a quirky wooden cat to model my scarves. I recently did a poll on Folksy to find out who was the better model - me or the cat. The cat won 12-1. Not sure whether to be pleased or not!!
