Socks anyone?

Look what I just bought!
My Auto Knitter, that will turn out one pair of socs after the other, will have to travel from Canada to me in Norway. It's a miracle to me that all these parts (that I have to put together) will make beautiful warm socks! I can't wait to get my new old machine!

  1. this looks amazing Eline - I only wear Norwegian wool socks, and in the traditional pattern - they are just so long wearing, comfy and super duper!
Never found a better sock than a Norwegian made one!

  5. I am always so curious about these sock machines. Look at all the pieces! I think I could make real messes for a long time before producing any socks.

I'm looking forward to seeing your learning process with this machine!

  6. Hope you have a lot of scrap yarn. You are going to need it ;-) I should have saved or at least photographed my "alien socks" with 20 practice heels.

When you make that first perfect sock. You will (and should be) be very proud.

    I cranked out 3 pairs today :-)

    Hope yours arrive soon.

  9. What a great set of machinery, even just as objects - but all the greater that they're capable of making something
