We did check in on the summer house yesterday and it didn't look much like summer there at all. It's still a lot of snow and the ground is frozen solid. The good thing is that it's spring and conditions will change fast now.
Today I will start preparing for summer! I have got the propogaters, seeds and soil out and will start my vegetables and summer flowers on the warm and bright window sills! Tomatos, cucumbers, salad, bell pepper, decorative grass (never tried these before!) and flowers are to get a head start!
I sold my goats last year and during winter, I have secretly been dreaming about a small veggie patch. Chard, green kale, tiny gurkins to pickle and Jacobs Cattlebeans is what I have decided, so far.
