Winter Wonderland

Today we vent to our summer house to see that all is fine there. After running into a deer looking for food, we found everything to be in order. It's a very clod day and with -14 celcius on the inside and the outside we didn't stay long! I took some pictures since a lot of you have seen how it looks like in the summer season.
It was tempting to put some wood in the burner and make some hot chocolate, but as you can see from the pictures of the window it will take some time before the hot chocolate can be enjoyed in comforet! We did go home and had tea and short bread!

  1. It's always kind of cold and lonely to see things out of context. Think of the house as being in hibernation, waiting for spring.

  3. Wow, I have never in my life been somewhere that cold! I don't know if I would be able to handle it - I'm a summer girl.

But your tea and shortbread sound delicious!

I might have to pop back a few times during the day to cool down :-)
