Etsy Treasury

I was browsing some of my (many) favourite shops on Etsy the other day and while doing so I put together a treasury. To my surprise it appeared on the front page! I'm so happy for the the people who got their beautiful work posted on the Etsy front page for one hour. It's much deserved and I hope it resulted in something good!

Merry Christmas!

I wish all my wonderful readers Happy Holidays and New Year!

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope to see you next year too.

Enjoy the joys of the season.

Winter Wonderland

Today we vent to our summer house to see that all is fine there. After running into a deer looking for food, we found everything to be in order. It's a very clod day and with -14 celcius on the inside and the outside we didn't stay long! I took some pictures since a lot of you have seen how it looks like in the summer season.
It was tempting to put some wood in the burner and make some hot chocolate, but as you can see from the pictures of the window it will take some time before the hot chocolate can be enjoyed in comforet! We did go home and had tea and short bread!

Finally snow in Oslo!

After months of dark and dull days we finally got some snow. At this tmen of the year we have very little day light and the snow helps make the day brigther! I took this picture on my way home form work early the other day.

A weekend in South England

Last weekend I was in the West Sussexs for a conference and took some days off. In a rented car we had a great time! We visited Petsworth, a charming old market town prepareing for Christmas. We stayed a night at a great old hotel in Midhurst and meet some very lovely people! The lovely country side and the charming villages made us agree to go back soon.
